Trust Partners look to future with Digital Futures Programme

Alet’s Trust Partners spent a fruitful morning on Thursday 13 June, reviewing the achievements of the past year’s Digital Futures Programme, and all importantly, planning for the next year.

Alet and the Trust have got big ambitions for the programme – which gives students meaningful engagements with a wide range of employers from the digital infrastructure sector – for the next academic year, including:

  •  Rolling out the programme to all four of our Trust’s UTCs
  • Reach over 1,000 students with a wide range of skills-based content
  • Provide around 350 DFP activities across all four schools
  • Increase the % of Year 12 students’ knowledge of, and ambitions to work in the booming area of digital infrastructure
  • More awards to add to our collection of four

There is so much passion for this project, both among the Trust Partners working collaboratively to bring in the right staff from all areas of their business to deliver meaningful content, and the Alet staff facilitating the programme. Lots of creative and practical ideas flying around this morning – watch this space for a lot more progress soon!

Attendees were: Mustan Mamujee from Yondr Group; Mike Hook from LMG (lmgiq.com), Elizabeth Dorey from CBRE, Sarah Parks and Ken Hillyer from CNet Training; Emma Garrety from Amazon Web Services (AWS); Allan Bosley, Sadie and Grace from Ark Data Centres
