UTC HEATHROW

welcome to UTC Heathrow
UTC Heathrow is a small University Technical College, located in Northwood, west London. Ofsted rated Good, the school specialises in engineering and digital, alongside a focused and rich curriculum.
UTCs are STEM-focused secondary schools and sixth forms set up in partnership with local employers, who input into the curriculum to ensure students leave school work ready. They are designed to provide clear pathways for young people into academic study and technical careers. From day one, students are engaged in solving genuine problems using industry specialist equipment.
UTC Heathrow is very proud of its Digital Futures Programme, an award-winning initiative that launched in 2021 with the support of several leading data services companies working collaboratively to upskill students in the digital skills they need for the modern world. The programme is now being rolled out to ALET’s other UTCs.
UTC Heathrow is proud to be part of ALET, on a mission to Transform Lives Through Learning.
The digital futures partnership
We are very proud of this initiative. Created at UTC Heathrow and now expanding to all our UTCs, this multi award-winning programme is focused on equipping students with the skills needed to succeed in the digital industries. It brings together companies which are serious about acting to address the skills shortage within their industries with STEM-focused schools prepared to forge a new path for their students. Find out more about the programme in full here.
