UTC Swindon is a small University Technical College located in central Swindon, Wiltshire. The school specialises in engineering and digital, alongside a focused and rich curriculum.

UTCs are STEM-focused secondary schools and sixth forms set up in partnership with local employers, who input into the curriculum to ensure students leave school work ready. They are designed to provide clear pathways for young people into academic study and technical careers.

From day one, students are engaged in solving genuine problems using industry specialist equipment. Students learn in a business-like environment working on projects similar to those found in the real world of work. This helps give them a head-start in their chosen careers.

UTC Swindon is proud to be part of ALET, on a mission to Transform Lives Through Learning.

Links to employers is one of the main things that makes a UTC different. UTC Swindon has forged industry partnership with many local companies large and small, including Fujitsu, BMW and REME, who spend time with our students working on real-world projects, training them in employability skills and supporting them to be work ready.
